Early Physical Therapy for Low Back Pain Reduces Risk for Surgery, Medication, Imaging and Total Health Care Costs by $2736.23

At BreakThrough Physical Therapy, we have known this all along, but a new study of 32,070 patients shows that early treatment by a physical therapist for low back pain (LBP) reduces the need for surgery, injections, medications, and imaging, and resulted in lower overall health care costs than delayed treatment. In other words, the sooner you get in to see a PT for low back pain, the less likely you'll need more medical or surgical treatment for the injury. This saves you time, money, and pain (literally)!

To continue our support of local community events, BTPT sponsored the Declan Dash 5k. The Race took place on May 12, 2012 and over 200 runners participated. Our Physios were at the finish line helping runners stretch and refuel after their 5k fun run! And as an extra bonus, one of our expert Physios, Cheryl Canupp finished 2nd overall female.
